Nelson Media Company Newspaper Division

The Denmark News was purchased in 2022.  Its building is in downtown Denmark, Wisconsin.  It has been in circulation since 2009.

Calhoun County Phoenix is the centerpiece for media in Calhoun County, Iowa.  CCP was founded by NMC in 2022, and is stationed in Lake City and Rockwell City, Iowa.

The Akron Hometowner was purchased in July of 2023 by NMC.  It has been in circulation in some capacity since the late 19th Century. 

The Anamosa Journal-Eureka is the oldest newspaper under the Nelson Media Company division starting back in 1856.  It was purchased by NMC in February of 2024.

Linn News is one of the oldest newspapers in the state of Iowa.  It started back in 1888, and was purchased by Nelson Media Company from WCI in February 2024.
